Pleasant Hope Missionary Baptist Church’s roots extend more than 100 years in this community. It is the result of New Hope M.B. Church in Vance, Miss., and Pleasant Ridge M.B. Church of Lambert, Miss., merging in 2005 under the leadership of the late Rev. Reginald G. Griffin.
